Getting a bike from Timaru to Wellington

    Hi guys,
I was wondering if anyone could tell me roughly how much it would cost to get a bike from Timaru to Paraparaumu.
    Much Appreciated,
    Matt
P.S. If anyone wanted to ride it up that would be cool. Definite alcohol and stuffs if you did

I got a price from Bike tranz of $500 from central hawkes bay to Oamaru, another from Mcdowells transport for the same trip for $300,Bike tranz will get it there without a scratch the transport company, well who knows and probably best to crate it up.

I would say they would be pretty similar in price to Bike Tranz to be honest,if it was me i would put it on a pellet....ie milk powder pellet and tie it down and go with a transport company...way cheaper.

    Hey Mafu,
Nassty just had her new GPZ bought down from Auckland to Welly by BikeTranz for $250. I'm thinking the extra on your quote is for getting across the ditch (cheapest on BlueBridge $98). The bike arrived in 4 days and it was in great condition.

You know who BikeTranz is? the guys at TwinCam Motors down by the Pram airport are tied up in it ... go see them.
