    Thumbs up

The biker gods reached down, put some preassure on your front end, grabbed you, smacked you back on the seat, laughed, and then they got back to their partying.

One day in the distant future I will sit by their table. Then the children of the ones who I took a liking to will have many unexplainable experiences.

May the bridges I burn light the way.

Was the whole episode watched by a confused onlooker whose sole input to the situation was saying "ooh, you lucky bastard" as you rode off?

Still, good work man. You'll be quietly sliding out of work to buy some new underpants then?

That was the Blood Pressure test they don't tell you about. You passed.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

You have to be lucky sometimes Simon....

Its a bit of a trap picking up too much speed out of there or away from the roundabout on wet days as there is waaaay more cars on the road...

    Cheers

What a legend! I thought Freddie Spencer was the only man to get away with front end slides.

It was a wee bit wet this morning. One time when the V Twin works well.

I was in the same situation today, actually (those f**king onramp traffic lights >_<''). Well I locked the front wheel at least, no amazing feats of motorcycle control though.

Front wheel locked on some oil and slid for what seemed like ages... for some reason my hand just wouldn't let go; thankfully I was looking up and the bike just slid forward and upright. No lowside-to-highside conversions like Mr Riffer, thank goodness

You know it was these guys, they thought that with those leathers you must be part of the Ranger Team.

Seriously Dan, would you really think I'd be wearing my leathers today? Cordura all the way today mate...

I'm a bit sore tonight now. I think I wrenched my shoulder...
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Actually Helen, it wasn't until I got to work that I got a massive case of the what-ifs.

It happened far too quick to do anything. Makes you wonder just how fast you really can get in the shit, eh?
