Question Where to buy 'L' plates?

I know this is a contentious issue (to display, or not to display), but I would like the option nonetheless and have tried 10 places this morning to buy some motorcycle 'L' plates with no success.

    Where can I get one?!

$2 shop. They come in pairs but for $2 at least you have a spare. They are exactly the right size, although they look smaller than what else is out there. They are not rigid, have some flex in them. We got some for my son when he sat his restricted recently, if you're stuck PM me and I'll hunt them down and post them to you.

I got mine from the Warehouse, these also come in a pair for about six bucks I think, I've just replaced one as it became quite brittle from where I riveted it on to a bracket.
It was good for five months though.

Hehe I remember trying to find a god damn L plate.

Here was me thinking that Supercheap Auto would have them.. You know.. "Everything Auto and Much MUCH more".... Well it was more like "Some things auto and not much else". The girl there was like "yeah it's stupid we don't have them so I got mine at Paper Plus". Sure enough they had them.

Anyway if you're still looking today I noticed (with a chuckle) that the Supercheap at Tawa Drive (Greville Rd off ramp) now has them.

I did manage to find one at the Warehouse which I cut down to the minimum 110mm wide. So thanks again to those who offered, but man I just couldn't wait any longer.

I'm all 'L'd up now, having ceremoniously defaced my beautiful new Hornet with a dirty great yellow sign. I of course took all my 'check out my new bike' photos pre-plate...

I'm sure there will be some occasions where it will accidentally fall off though...

There is no such thing as bad weather; only inappropriate clothing!
