    Lost my license

Bugger - I've only had the plastic for about a week and a half and now I've already lost it.

I can only wonder where I dropped it, since it must have fallen out of my pocket today - have checked the likely places...

I wonder how much of a hassle it'll be to get another one - my temporary will run out soon.

God, I was thinking you've only been here a short time and already caught speeding!!
Good to hear you've only dropped it some where. Should be no biggy to go to the AA and apply for a new one. Dunno what they would charge though.

It's bloody bad timing as well - my temporary license expired today... And of course AA is closed during the weekend.

What is the penalty (both $ and demerit points if applicable) if you get stopped not carrying your license? Also, how long time does it take them to reissue you another piece of plastic and do you get a temporary slip again?

That's a comfort. It's listed along with the other license restrictions - so I was afraid that they could do something absolutely ridiculous like giving you $400 and 25 Demerit points.

    Because, that would be bad!

    its $55 no demerits,

Cops only give out that ticket, for one of two reasons

They are throwing the book at you.
    or
    They are in a rush.

Basicly if you get pulled, they wont do you for it.

But then again its the pigs.
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot

Some are open, check in the yellow pagers and ring around.
The Shirley one is open as I have been there.
Feel the fear and do it anyway

The RFID's we use at work would do the job, about 2/3 the size of a Sony memory stick, 3m range being the main limitation.
