Help - Looking for bike wreckers in Auckland

    Hey,

Got the new red Babe (Honda Cb 400) but lost the plastic cover of the rear indicator () and the brake lever has a funny shape...
Is anyone know a yard scarp around Auckland?

    Cheers all

    ??????
    Do you mean "a scrapyard"?
There are a couple of bike wreckers on Barry's Point Road in Takapuna, where you could get a replacement indicator lens and brake lever. Also, Cycletreads on Barrys Point Rd sells aftermarket levers that aren't too expensive.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

I still lack mechanical vocabulary for the moment and I don't know how language of signs (showing on the bike lol) works via internet

As Dan mentioned there is Atomic Bike Wreckers beside the Suzuki dealer in Barry's Point Road. There is another wrecker (Action) on the other side of Barry's Point Road just up from Cycletreads also.

Thanks Xile for asking this particular question. I have a 97 CB400 and after my first dropsys a couple of weeks ago I lost the covering for one of the front indicators. Have been wondering whether to find a brand new one or look for a second hand. If you don't mind letting us know whether you find what you need, then I'll go and have a nosy myself.

As far as I know, the Honda indicators (apart from the stupid VFR800 ones) are common to many models, so should be a piece of cake to find.
F'rinstance - the VTR1000, VF500, VF750, VFR400 and most of the CB/CBR models all use basically the same indicators, with only minor variations in stalks.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.
