Rider trainers in Auckland?

Hi I know 3 guys going to do training to learn to ride and then do Skills tests.

What I want to know is who do you recommend for these in Auckland (I have been told about J Wright) and should I give them some car park skills to get them started or just let the pros do it all.

Also about what does it cost.

$130 including hire and the test fee. I know at least 5 people who've used them and had thought they were great.

Riderskills rock the party, I used them and they were great.

We had three in our group with two trainers, they even did 2 hours one-on-one with this guy to try and get him through (he subsequently failed the handling skills test on the first straight line test).

I rekon let the pros do it all ay cos i hadn't ridin a motorcycle at all and managed to pass the bhs test. You helping might confuse them lol dunno.. I did mine at riderskills also and have a mate booked in for sat after next.

I went with Passrite ($150) that included an hour and a half training, bike/helmet hire and then the BHS, the guys who took it were great and really supportive. There were three in our group with two trainers. If you fail the BHS after that a resit was only... $40 or $50 (can't remember cause I passed ), the price of that includes the training and the BHS all over again.. don't know if riderskills offers that but if you haven't ridden before it's a kind of safety net for if you screw up something during the BHS (after that long on a bike if you're not used to it, it's tiring - and ever so tempting to stomp a foot down in the slow tight cone weave at the end...)

I think getting a professional to show you the ropes is best, so you don't start with any bad habits and learn how to do things right straight from the beginning.
