I know my Telecom used to work up at the Bombing range a bit further on from Woodhil...so it should do.

Sometimes you can get coverage with either 021 or 0274, just depends where you are and what the conditions are like. Niether is guaranteed but both will show service at times.

Twice the displacement, twice the cost and a decibel problem, I'll pass on the inside brraaaap!!!

I could get coverage with my 021 last time I went mountain biking there. Decent enough for txting, but I wouldn't have liked to make a phone call. Then again I can't make a phone call from my room :/

Yeah 025 used to work pretty good, but then Telecom decided to revert to old army technology.

I used to take a couple of hand held VHF radios with me. Works great when you lose your buddy and your bike is up a tree.
