Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, .... but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out,... shouting "man, what a ride"!!!
Having experienced this a couple of times now, the best advice I can give re being comfortable is to get someone to strap your ribs with a wide bandage every day,as you'll find it more comfortable the tighter you can stand it
2nd thing is avoid humour at all costs
Bust ribs hurt like hell if you laugh
All the best for a speedy recovery
