Yep, 3 fractured ribs, and a new helmet through insurance. Oh well, the helmet did its job protecting my head and the ribs did their job protecting the squishy bits inside. What's the saying - can't make an omelet without breaking some eggs? These things are to be expected from time to time. I'll be back

Having experienced this a couple of times now, the best advice I can give re being comfortable is to get someone to strap your ribs with a wide bandage every day, as you'll find it more comfortable the tighter you can stand it

2nd thing is avoid humour at all costs

Bust ribs hurt like hell if you laugh
