Dont worry I've finally got a bigger tank (ya didnt beat me to this one). My IMS 18l turned up last night and hope to have it on tonight. One fill for the loop.

Hey, you might be interested - I got over 20km/l on Sat instead of the usual 17. Rode non stop up the highway to Springs. Exactly 200kms and didn't hit reserve. Gearing was/is 15/43.

    Cheers R

Excellent, a decent sized tank is great

I went to Nelson last weekend - filled up at home, rode to Nelson (Maitai Valley) on the Friday, did the Maungatapu on Saturday, rode back to Richmond on Sunday, and topped up. 478.7km, 16.52 km/l, it looked like there was still about 5-6 litres left in the tank before the top up. Gearing was 15/44.

Yeah, well it's very difficult to argue when her thesis is meant to be finished at the end of the month
At least it means that I will get to take the TT-R.

My guess is we'll be passing there between 9:45 and 10am if we depart Belfast at 9am

I'd go with this ^. We wont be earlier but may be slightly later. We will just cruse past and you tag on the back down to Motunau which will be the first stop.

    Hiya SkinnyB..
If you're taking the TTR me and crasher (although we haven't confirmed) are thinking of departing slightly earlier (top end challenged tiddlers getting a head start!). Game for that? Although it does mean climbing out of bed earlier!!
