I'm not that fussed about the pissed twats writing themselves off (except for the bad image they project) but the youngster probably had no say in the matter. We've taken our kids on poker runs and other pub-crawling rides but just because you're in a pub doesn't mean you have to drink alcohol. (It's actually interesting to see which bars can pour a nice lemon, lime and bitters.)

In fact, the last pub-crawling poker run I went on they skipped the last pub for two reasons; 1) Less opportunities for the boozers to drink and ride like cabbages and 2)The final destination was the over-night spot with booze available, which made things safer and generated a few extra dollars for the event.

Some people have their act together, some don't.

Alcohol was thought to be factor in the crash
I do wonder if that is solely due to them having been at a boozer or whether there was some sort of test performed (in which case i would have thought it would have been proven by now).

Hey great another darwinian moment in motorcycle history but to take a kid with you? God what was that biker thinking, the public already view us a public enemy number one without this space cadet making us look even worse.
I think a group kicking for the rider, how about you?

Seriously bad call. Hope they are reading this thread and realise the harm they have done to the biker community.
There are no strangers in Kiwi Biker, only friends I haven't yet met.
