Hey people, I live in Kumeu and my son was cut off by a Balck Falcon Ute with this plate number about 20 minutes ago on Deacon Road where the old Carter Holt Mill is (if you know the area). So if this is the right plate number it sure isn't the same car. Might be a good idea to confirm the details before the witch hunt goes too far.

interesting. reading this from a 3rd person prespective. You have estiblished that this plate is being run on 2 x cars. Which in itself is a crime. Perhaps if someone can find out where the the toyota is parked during the day with the plate, a friendly policemen can have a chat with him.

One of you guys could ride passed the address you have and look for the ute. Then come back for your KB carols.

It looks like a lot of people have noticed this person's erratic & dangerous driving. Have at least three of you reported him/her yet?

I've been riding along St John's Road regularly to visit Purewa Cemetery. I'm an inexperienced rider, so I don't know if I have the evasive skills to keep out of this person's way if they do something dangerous/aggressive aimed at me.

I would feel much happier to know that they have at least received a warning and know they are being watched.

Tried it with one of my own regos - only comes up with colour make and year.... no owner details at all.

And a field day with tickets too. Gets me hard just thinking about it.

Please reread my post. I never said anything about the owner details... just that you can match a rego number against MAKE, MODEL, YEAR and COLOUR.
It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)

Why thank you, usually people insert the word "arse" between 'smart' and 'bastard'. Cheers.

As for reporting the incident; while I am reknowned for supporting the police and refer to them always as our overworked, underpaid, utterly respected friends, their hands are tied by boring legalities.

If you have the right man, and be sure that you have, then reporting him to our buddies in blue will probably come to nought.

I think you know where I'm heading............

    Plate is IBBAK, car located

    GUYS:

It's NOT that other guy with the XR8 ute.

I just played around on the VIR site, and this looks like a more likely match -- 1994 Toyota Celica in Black, IBBAK (edited). I didn't follow through with the full details, as I can't really afford $30 on a credit card, but there's people here who can do it for free, right?

    Stop. Collaborate and listen...

I'm a daily commuter and I find it hard to believe how often I get this kind of shit. Now i'm all up for a bit of blood in the streets sure - but if you guys do want to go for a ride to see this guy remember that it might have the opposite effect of what you're after.

I remember a case I heard of a few years ago where a cager was charged with dangerous driving without a cop being present. He'd overtaken on a corner or something - anyway the people in the car he overtook noted his number plate and reported him.

Bingo - fine (or summons) in the mail.

If the police get multiple reports of the same car / plate pulling this shit then I'm sure they'll act on it - even if he isn't snapped in the act.

Worse thing would be for a few heavies to scare the guy and piss him right off - and then he ends up in court, but only after one of us ends up in hospital.

Unless someone wants to just kill the guy. Then I'm down with. :P

we seem to have a match ( after some bad confusion caused by myself ) with an " I B BAK " ?? plate. its not concrete so please nobody kill him.

I have one other person willing to report this guy to the police, 2 including myself, as soon as one more person who has seen him in action is willing to report him to the police
we can move on it. 3 complaints will cause the police to act on it I think.

thanks to all who have offered there support with this.

sorry for the confusion I have caused with plate #.

I plan to wait for him on the southern asap and confirm plate #, perhaps even tail him at a distance and see what else he trys and maybe get an address.

    cheers.

    adam.
