oh well - it'll work itself out. Could be for the best anyway
Not naming names, but I was there when somebody mentioned your speeds of WELL over 110km/h in front of your wife and I just happened to watch her reaction........I tried to lighten things up by asking her "you did not want to hear that did you?" where she quietly answered "no". I kind of guessed you were going to be quized on the comment later on that night. Is that why you are contemplating taking up a new pass time......in the interests of continued amicable wedded relations??

How about a track day weekend this weekend?

Do Pukie this Sat, stay the night at palmy, do Manfield on Sunday and come back home or stay Sunday and come back Monday (3 day weekend! )

    Thanks all

    Hey

As I've said on numerous occasions on the w/e, thanks Quasi and Paula, top effort, much appreciated.

Next time though, I think Duct Tape is not such a great prize to be giving out to drinking bikers (second thought, it makes for a laugh, more next time pls)

Nice to meet all of you, but I must admit I didn't speak to many people for very long, so I fear I may have already forgot the name, faces or both There is always next time, I hope...

See some of you at Paul's soon to be legendary BBQ, coming up in Nov
    Dave.

    What a weekend!

My waterproof over pants worked well, unfortunately my jacket didn't, and once it had soaked into my jumper and t-shirt, it soaked into the pants too... :P For the last bit of the ride there I was sitting as still as I could because with each movement, the water moved a bit and made me just a bit colder.

The party and the ride (and awsome weather) on sunday more than made up for it though Not to mention "winning" (Quasi rigged it after seeing the waterlogged work boots I wore) some proper bike boots in the raffle. They're a bit small, but WhiteTrash has said he'll see if he can find some that will fit me. It was a real surprise for me getting them, I was sitting there wondering when my ticket number would be called out and didn't suspect I'd get them until Quasi started talking about checking people's boots! Thanks heaps!

I was so exhausted yesterday after the party, the ride back to Hamilton, and then riding up SH22 with Motoracer, Two Smoker, 6Chris6, Zapf and Darkdream that I couldn't concentrate on posting here or even watching the MotoGP.

Anyway, I took a few fotos, they're up in the gallery now. The photo of Celtic_Sea_Lily's and Jazbug's duct taped bikes is there, as are a few blurry photos of Motoracer and TwoSmoker going around that corner by the cafe (actually, they're not that blurry, not all of them... but it's bloomin' difficult taking good photos of fast moving bikes).

I'd better get stuck into writing a lab report that's due on wednesday...

Well I have finally got my PC to stay connected longer than 3 minutes at a time and can now throw my thanks up here ... both to Mr. & Mrs. Evil for the event itself .... and to Mr. & Mrs Cajun for allowing me to snore up a storm in their room after I succumbed to the heineken diet I was on !! I piked early in the end due to a lack of practice in the drinking dept and probably have the distinction of being the only one to have suffered a mechanical breakdown on the way up after my clutch lever bolt failed to remain in place !! .... Oh well it is an old bike after all .....
Anyhow great weekend with great people, can't wait for the next one .....
A man can move much faster without a millstone around his neck, so if he gets the chance to lose her he'd better drop her and run like heck !! .. (10cc "Modern Man Blues" - Deceptive Bends)
