    This is not why buckcuck does it as he has explained, but some might be interested to know, that when tyre are sitting on cold concrete, it actually bleeds the oils out of them, that's why bike shops have them all on racks off the groung.

    If anyone has a race bike, it is best to put them on both stands to avoid it.

    In my gargre, the WBP Racing Gixxerthou is up on it's stands so it lords over the other bikes. On it's left side is my gorgeous R6, and on the right is Ray's F3 race bike that we're storing for him at the moment. At the back of the gargre sits my newly acquired RGV250, gazing adoringly at the pretty bikes and looking forward to the day when it will look just as good.

    My strom sits right next to the R80 knowing that it will never got the places the R80 has been or ever live as long. It only maintains its self esteem by knowing it has a tad more performance, better brakes, better fuel consumption, better suspension, better seat.........

    mostly sees a crappy old 350...
    but also a 2.8 quality bmw motor to even things out a little
