Glad to see the decision was totally impartial and unbiased !! ...

By the way Jaz has the distraction finally got under way and does the equipment that was running hot still work OK ...???

    Oy!

The decision really really is on its way.... 2 of the judges had trouble accessing the picture (not being members... and what with the kidnapping/enforced tour of Wellington Fleshpots) so I have had to email it to ther work addies. There is now a shortlist that they are whittling down for a final decision. Sorry all.
All parts functioning very well, thank you Mr. Hooks. Ahem.

    drumroll please...

    ... and the winner is....

Paul in NZ with 'Well you did tell me to find an outdoor pursuit'

    .

Very difficult decision, folks- some real corkers!
Paul: do you have a preferred musical genre?
And I'll need your postal address..
Two runners up (once agreement is reached) will get a print of the pic with their caption... at some point.
Will announce that this PM... must go, about to be fired..

    Thumbs up

Oh, thought you might like to hear their comments...

    Go #2.

it has class.... not like "why are all my girlfriends dogs" or something degrading... its tactful humour and i like it.

    Judge M

I also vote for number 2.

What I like about it , is that it leaves the actual "pursuit" up to our imagination.

Is he a corgi-worrier, a corgi-shagger or just someone who puts dogs up trees?

A good combined caption could have been:

Dateline Monday: Heimlich Manoeuvre saves rare Tree-Corgi.

Dateline Tuesday: SHOCK: Corgi lays complaint against would be rescuer.

    Judge D.

OK - after much deliberation - I am having so much trouble

    deciding....

    I am voting for...

    Drum roll please.........

Well you did tell me to find an outdoor pursuit - Paul in nz

    Judge J

See? They really had to think about it...
(Oh, Paul, they want to know when the chocolate fish will arrive..?)

'Well you did tell me to find an outdoor pursuit'

    Thats Humour is it??!

Just goes to show that Wellington Judges don't have one Humour cell in their brain.

And who is this Paul in NZ guy? (checks profile)

Raumati South! I may be wrong, but isn't that, IN WELLINGTON?!

Ah, Now we see the full picture. Wellingtonains picking Wellingtonains.
We were doomed from the start.

Firstly I need some time to consider all tho's who PM'ed me messages of support for being ripped off from winning this fine competition.
Thankyou,, You know who your are.
Your inspairation and support has meant alot in these last few hours!
And while I understand the ground swell of feeling, that Purhapes "Paul in NZ" should without delay, undergo a drug test. I'm secure in the fact that, well,, who are we going to trust in Wellington to be objective in their persuit of Proformace Enhances! Not that I For one moment have any doult that the good "Paul in NZ" would resort to such tatics, But as he was pretty fast out of the blocks with that Witty Witty (or so I'm trying to believe) caption. One wonders if a quick google search for
'Well you did tell me to find an outdoor pursuit' wouldn't uncover some PLAGIARSTIC tendencies of said "winner"

Plus just wait till you all see what I'm buying.... hee heee
