Would love to do it Anne! The thought of pootling around the country side carefree in a fluoro jacket riding a disposable bike got my attention! [seriously] However the co I have been working for has not paid me since Jan and has gone under leaving me a tad light in the pocket at this stage. This may change but anyways, I am up for backup vehicle if there is one needed. Have ute and trailer, so get in touch with me if I am needed, in the meantime , fingers crossed!

There will be a ride up to Kaitaia for St Johns Ambulance with the Ulysses on fri 25th,[this fri!] leaving Burger King at 10.30am. Will be a bunch from Auckland coming too. We ride at "own" pace so no-one gets frustrated and there are badges available [$10] and a feed is put on for a small sum. Come along, you don't have to be old and farty to ride with this group!

    hello

you lot how yall going, how are the rides.
ok now im getting cranky not having a bike to ride here.
looking forward to getting home, maybe mid next month. middle of winter and all.
    well soon to be.
back in the states manchester was such an amazing place to visit, and switzerland is beautiful, such a short time i was there but amazing.
how ever germany was somewhat depressing frankfurt that is.
manchesters pubs, to the new and old buildings was spectacular. but how ever the cost of staying there was very scary indeed. so if you ever intend to go, get to know someone or know what ya wanna see and do it quickly. ill get some pictures up tomorrow. something to keep you all amused so you i know i am here. lol.

    i have one big problem!
i have seen so many over here wearing shorts and t shirts when riding through town locals you could say. making my cringe big time. skin graft anyone?

Hi Norflanders! Well been a while since Ive been up yous fullas way. Jay has been here for the past week and 1/2, shipping him home tomorrow
He is now ready for his first road bike so last Saturday we went bike shop slutting Checked out a whole lotta bikes from the new Kawazaki Ninja 250R, the Hyobang 250, through to the Keyway (he refused to sit on that), the Bandit 250, GN250 to finally settling on the Scopio 225. Bang for buck and size wise (remember Jay is a little fellow) it was the most suitable bike for him. And no, nothing to do with Chris now working in a Yamaha shop
So, once he gets his license looks like I will be out riding with my son (boy does that make me feel my age).
Will let you lot know once he's mobile up there, and hoping people will look out for him as he learns the hazards of the roads
Hoping to catch up with Whangarei end of May after my next track day 16th May.
