I will be there to pay my respects.

Yes i will attend. Any others want to meet in the city and depart as a group from there? In the alley way between the PWC building and the Downtown car park? I expect to have a couple of mates with me. Please don't cater for us. Can take a pillion if someone wishes.
I have created a calendar event for the funeral, here and I ask that anyone attending please register, as I need an idea of numbers for catering (and the numbers I have to look at managing for routes etc). Please do this as soon as possible.
Please be aware that the roads in the area can be dangerous, so exercise caution.
For riders that are forming up in groups around Auckland to travel to the meeting point, if leaders require directions, please contact me, and I will be happy to help. You can pm or email me through my profile, or ring me on 021 953 943.

Can I ask anyone organising a meeting point for travelling to the funeral in the Mt Roskill / Hillsborough area to contact Sarge on 0274 887 457 (real name is Dallas) as he would like to travel with someone to the meeting point if possible. He doesn't have access to a computer, so it is likely he won't respond to any pm/email.
He does know I have posted this message, so just say what you are ringing about.
Thanks

Have finalised a lot of the details, and here is a basic idea of how it will go:
1.45pm - All bikes assembled at meeting point on Western Road and ready to go.
approx 2pm - Hearse will arrive at the church, followed by family on bikes, close friends, then convoy of bikes
2.30pm - Aim to officially start the funeral. Family will say their tributes, followed by a couple of close friends. Pastor will also announce the open forum after that, for anyone to pay tribute.
3.40pm - Aim to finish service. Refreshments will be provided.
4.00pm - Hearse must have left for the crematorium (it needs approx 30 minutes, and the appointment is at 4.30pm). Family will follow on their bikes, then close friends, and any bikes wishing to provide a convoy until the crematorium are free to do so.
4.30pm - Private ceremony at the crematorium for the family and close friends to say their final goodbyes.

I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure...
My condolences to all who knew and loved him. Sorry I cannot be there. I would like to be but am overseas at the moment.
