Well this guy has to be fast becoming legendary, Pete saw me off at the start point of the waikato rally on saturday, knowing as his bike had just blown it's cdi unit the chances of getting it fixed were slim at best.
9.15 my sister gets hold of malcolm, pete races out to Te Aroha with the bike on the trailer, and miraculously, Malcolm has the very part needed to do the job.
This guy took time out on a saturday to go back and forth from his shop to sort out Pete's bike.
Pete managed ot get the bike back to Hammy, put it back together, leave the trailer and join us all for lunch at Te Kuiti.
We would have never have done the rally together without his input, thanks Malcolm your top man!
