Hell yes it took me ages to be confident enough to ride with big groups. Im looking forward to you teaching me the technical aspects of the knee out theory

    First proper ride out!

Well, I certainly know I have ridden over 400kms today.

What a fantastic day to be out and about. I spent my time re-learning gear selection for corners, in no hurry so apologies to anyone I held up today. Finding out how the lovely handles was my main focus today. I have discovered a few things. (will be asking the KB brain trust for some advice soon).

Third gear, gives wonderful engine braking, allowing a smooth exit from tightish corners, while 4th is the best sweeper gear to use. Pity of it is I need more road time, my hands are not fit for the constant gear changes Guess I will just have to spend more time out there

LOL ohhhhh you are being wooood!

Actually my hands are not feeling too bad today, but seeing as it has just started raining here, instead of getting out and about, the plan is to clean and polish the lovely. Might even take a before and after pic to see what a difference I can make!

    Have fun Mommy...
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them

Well there is still much to do to my poor previously neglected bike, but I reckon she is looking much better now!

Not telling till you get here.......

Just a bit of general advice mate, nothing I will hold against you...oooops! Though I might hold me against you for a hug or 3, does that count?

    I will even feed you

I have an oldish bike, of the type that I used to ride, the old fashioned kind, with individual carbs, that feed individual cylinders, it has a petrol tank, two wheels, and an engine that feeds power. This baby does not smoke, nor leak any oil, but.........she is 16 years old, and needs some TLC!
I also want to ride her, so I need her to be tickety boo that be showing my age.....LOL

I am too ignorant, I cant claim I know anything about bikes/engines/suspension blah, blah, but I know a tiny, little bit about them, a bit of a more experienced eye would be welcome!
