I don't listen to music. I make music. (It's called 2nd gear and a straight-through pipe.) Seriously however, listening to music / phone / other people - where has the spirit of motorcycling gone? If you want conversation whilst travelling.... BUY A CAR!

So just out of curiosity, how much long distance (more than 600km in one day) riding do ya do? Big difference between day hoons and long distance touring. It doesn't pay ta ride all day in second gear

    600 + in one day?

Not often. Maybe once a fortnight? My weekend rides are normally very social affairs with lots of stops, drinking and naps.

I'll only run over 600k if i'm doing the coro loop, the northern run or going to check out some friends in the naki, or further.

Mostly I dodge huge bullets with NISSAN & MAZDA etc... written on them whilst getting to and from work.

Got our Baehr units installed today, man they are awesome, ran us abit more than we wanted to spend, mainly because we put a zumo 550 on the wifes bike, but worth the money.

Like RiderInBlack said most of our riding is all long distance rides when we can get away for a ride it is normally for 3+ days doing large Km's per trip, the ipod helps make the trip more enjoyable.. and I guess unlike some that have posted on intercoms, I quite like talking to my wife ( well most of the time anyway )
