    PURELY from a retro/fashion point of view... since I'm male and all
    That is kinda cool, I think it would of been heaps of fun to be young back then.

    Did your flares ever get hooked up on the foot peg? just asking if that could possibly happen y'know....I would never ride a bike in flares,oh no,not me...hell,I wasn't even born then...um,well....

    You shameless git. What a poofy bike. I had a Suzuki T125 Stinger back in '75.

    Isn't fashion scary. Long hair, flares. Even scarier is that my sons were watching the new 'Starsky and Hutch' movie and thought the fashions, cars etc were really cool!! They haven't been listening to me again.

    In the '70s a mate of mine jumped off the back of my F100 and his flares got hooked on one of the big-mutha self-tappers that was attaching the toneau (sp) cover hook to the side of the deck, he ended hanging upside-down by one leg and was lucky to be spotted before we drove off again, oh the perils of fashion!!
