    Finally grown up

    Well done Donor!
I'm sure you are gonna enjoy the thrill of having more than the mighty 250 throbbing between your legs bet the missus will enjoy that to, given the look on her face yesterday when she mounted your new toy!!!!!
Now you to can derive the endless pleasure of keeping all the shiny bits shiny, its a great reason to keep you out of the house and content in the Man Cave, where the smell of oil and machine is perfume to the nose and sure as hell beats the cooking smells and toilet cleaner
We all look forward to seeing you wobble oopps riding around the place very soon, well at least as soon as you stop polishing the paint off it!!!!
Dont forget those ribbon things we discussed
YES its fast and NO you can't have a ride!

Well, I have discovered that the new beast doesn't like the rain...

The plug leads are not sealed going into the top of the cylinders, meaning rain and road wash from riding rather annoyingly leak in and kill the spark, thus causing intermittent running on one and sometimes no cylinders - very difficult to deal with at 0645 in the morn on the way home from the Auckland CBD to Papakura after a busy night shift...

So it's off to the man with the parts to seek out the bungs of joy I go this weekend - thus reducing me to fair weather rider status for a bit - ARSE!

(And more determined to buy a bloody rain suit too!)

Stink mate. Can't get the ol' 250 out in the meantime?

Congrats on getting your full BTW. Hope to do the same (on a borrowed non-smashed bike) in a couple of weeks.

Good grief man - who initiated you into the Cruiser club??? Of COURSE the new bike doesn't like the rain, cruisers are SHINY. Shiny things like sunny days because then their shiny bits look REALLY shiny.

And as for the rain suit? Have you lost your yellow pants?

And the band played on ... I was meaning to ask you about how it would handle in the wet! Guess it was answered!

Seems you got home spluttering in the rain, but I bet it didn't engender you to the thrill of riding it that way!

Excuse to go to bike bling and part place?

Funny mine doesn't mind the wet! As for 0645 hrs, thought I trained you harder than to moan about a wee bit of water and BUSY shift I find that very hard to believe you probably spent the night on the couch
