    Pillion

The female was actually the pillion on the bike - unfortunately she landed on her head. The male rider survived (surprisingly enough) I'm not actually sure what his injuries are at the moment.
Bike was a 2007 Kawasaki 1400 touring bike.

    BC.

Apparently male rider has minor injuries only. My partner is a colleague of his - very very sad way to lose your wife.
