I was a bit let down with the motorbike aspect when i went, a wander around Nth Shore bike shops is as good and there is no entry fee.
Crusty demon type stuff is always a buzz to watch.
Couple of years ago i was impressed with a wall climbing display thing, horizontal roof about 3 metres up and these rock climbing dudes were seeing who could get the furterest out, just hanging on with there fingers to small pieces of stuff, supporting there full weight on there fingers and arms.
Totally impressed I was, made my arm ache watching them.

It is a bit of fun, but mostly not about bikes. They don't really have as strong a presence as I would wish! Then again, if I was organising it, it would be the Big Boys & Girls Bike Show...

It has some nice machinery on display though...especially if you like noisy engines!

plugs-for-lugs will be there too, you can get some fancy custom moulded ear plugs.

I actually loved it , been there three years in a row. last year they had the world champion of free style riding from germany , man he was ausum. We have all probably seen stunt videos of some sort but this guy was sooo amazing. trully spectacular. and the crusty demons always make their way there so its cool to watch them , aldou they had one girl that was kinda new , and didnt do tricks just jumps , but its more than i can manage so , god bless the limit pushers. I'm telling you , you will like it. and as you said 18bux aint expensive at all , plus there are alot of ladies, with big boys toys on them, lol. you'll like it.

Don't go! I went in 2002 and ended up buying a BMW F650CS so it was a bloody expensive weekend!

Nice cars but not as many bikes as I would have liked. Don't know if that has changed in the years since then.

And it's not just boys who like toys!
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!
