    Bel-Ray Cross Country Series

Anyone done this series before? What did you think? The first race is this Saturday and I'm thinking of going along for a ride.

Twice the displacement, twice the cost and a decibel problem, I'll pass on the inside brraaaap!!!

great series, mass starts which i like, but not for everyone, 2 hour races, no look lap, juniors first,

tracks are fairly fast and flowing normally, great rides,

i got 2nd overall in the first round last year then dnf'd, the next 2 rounds,

if you have been on our Mr Motorcycle trail rides, then the tracks are simlar but normally a bit tigher and run around the edge of big paddocks to length the track, and slow things down a bit,

where are they held is there a website link?
Unfortunatrely same time as the matata GNCC round but if its wet I won't be going there so might try this instead if its local to AK

You only need two tools in life - WD-40 and Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.
And now a third thing a bloody big gun to shoot theives with!

Thanks for the info. Trying to decide whether to do this or just ride Woodhill this arvo. Don't have time for both. Really want to ride some dirt in prep for next weeks race in Riverhead. Might try and get the KTM ready and ride that on Saturday for the first time since July. Sounds like the 6th gear might be a benefit.
Details are in the back of Kiwi Rider but sign on is 8.30-11.00 for seniors and 2 hour race, 8.30-9.30 for Juniors and 1.5 hours race, no tear offs and you can get a day licence.
