    Day rides from Auckland on Wednesday 11 & Thursday 13 January?

    Hi every one

    I have been on my bike for about a year now. Tommorow i am doing the service so i am going to do some rides this week as I am back to work next week. Wednesday i will be going to corromandal and on thursday the plan is to to go to whangarei up through the new toll road and back down through the brunduins ( I know i can spell). Not looking to rush just crusie so I thought i put it our there see if any one is keen for some nice crusies - weather depending of course
    Feel free to leave me your number and we can arrange by text where to meet. Prob be look at leaving 10 am on both days. Im out east auckland . Not looking to stay basically full day riding stop over for some lucnh maybe fish and chips or a burger. Have never done it before so if you have lots of experience come and help me out otherwise if your like me get back to me

    Oh yes i ride a 250 by the way hence no need for a rush, im sure there must be others out there keen for a cruise, weather depending of course

    Trip to Whangarei the Toll Tunnel and Brynderwyns are the same road State highway 1, however you can turn off the bottom of the Brynderwyns onto SH12 and do a route up through Paparoa to almost Whangarei as the SH is pretty bloody boring - refer map attached.

    That is a great ride, doesn't sound like your in a hurry and does get you off the main highway. Have fun I am jealous

    That is a great ride, doesn't sound like your in a hurry and does get you off the main highway. Have fun I am jealous

    thats great thanks mate, yeh not in a rush, dont want to show off just want to crusie thats what i signed up for and like i said it would be great if we get a group together :-)

    hi grant yes had a great ride two hours there then two hours home total gas $20 or to tanks. Just did the service adjusted the tappets new oil and plug. Held up well i thought crusied nicely on 100km. Damn sore legs though, defintely will go again and will keep trying to get a bunch of riders pref 250cc so we are all on the same speed but all welcome for a cruise , loving biking

    Have you been on any of the SASS or NASS rides - posts in the meetings and events sections they have a lot of learner people along to them.

    Glad to hear you had a good ride though, i got out for about 30 mins yesterday after having my new tyres put on the bike, but itching to wear them in properly.
