Red face Maitai Valley, Friday 2 November

im going to the nelson ralley in tehe maitai valley this friday.
problem is thursday night i put a big gahk in my left flipper requiring 9 stitches. and have to keep it elevated a bit. not like grabbing a clutch lever. for 4 hours.
so either i drive up and get ridiculed or i pillion o something like that, though then i guess i'd have to shove the tent down me trousers and wink at the ladies. you dont want to know where the sleeping bag is going. anyways... got any suggestion? maybe i drive to nelson and pillion to the site from the golf club?

    Cool Years ago...

I broke my left wrist. Got a cast on it and no way to use the clutch.

So I mounted the clutch vertical so I could push it down with my hand in a cast. Did ride like that for two months... (had to fit an alloy bar on it as the clutch leaver started to break the cast...)

Perhaps a sturdy glove with some re-inforcements and do the same trick? Sure, you can not go silly when riding as the most of the handlebars will be held by right hand. But you be surprised how well it will work...

    Good Luck

May the bridges I burn light the way.
