    Re CBR 600

yeah mate, I had a 98, dam good bike, not much ever went wrong with it, very forgiving, and still fun to ride(not quiet as much fun as the R6) but still fun, sold it for what I payed for it after about a year of thrashing it.

The only reason I only ride in the Iron man Class is I have no friends left to enter the two man events,
    my own fault really.

It's a Honda. You won't go too wrong with one of those (said the Kawasaki owner).

Very good bikes. I am on my second one.
They are comfortable compared to some of the other 600's. As far as performance, unless you want it for the track, you can keep up with anything on the road, depending on how you ride.........
I've recently changed the subframe and tail on my bike to the '01-'03 F4i model tail as well as fitted a Scorpion can.
Why? Because it goes well and doing mods is cheaper than buying another bike without any real riding benefit.

I had '98 too Firefight - an excellent bike. Well made, would go if you needed it too and will tour nicely too. Recommended.

That link didn't work for me.

I've recently got a '97 CBR600F3, it's coloured orange and black and I'm having heaps of fun on it.

    You can't go wrong.
