I've had my SVs for over a year now and I'm still wrapped with it. You have to realise that it's not a full on sports bike but a "fun machine". I have alot of fun on mine and they have the grunt to get you into trouble if your not careful. 6 hour ride is my limit before my knees start to complain and I'm 6ft 2in.
Done a few mods to mine like...double bubble screen, K & N filter, snorkel removed, lowered footpegs (buell units), Yoshi RS3 pipes (beautiful deep rumble), rear hugger, TRE , rear fender eliminator, anodised fairing bolts, braided steel brake lines (on order), polished & drilled heel plates, clear indicator lenses, fiddled with suspension settings & now holds a better line in the corners, headlight protectors (a must)....
I think thats it.
It all comes down to a matter of personal taste....I love v-twins & loved the look of the SV so I got one & haven't looked back.
