    Neons and Sportsbikes

While my engines been at the shop getting the valves fixed, ive been playing around with some high intensity leds. Heres a few pics of the front wheel. Havent got enought to rig the whole bike up yet. Thought i might see what it looks like on the front first.

Im going to do the back guard, and inside the air intake holes as well. Have a couple of leds facing down the rear suspension coil as well. Im trying to keep the leds themselves out of view, i reckon theres nothing worse than seeing the lights or neons. Just waiting some more leds. If anybodys interested i can draw up some schematics and take some pics of the inside of the guards and stuff. Its pretty cheap to throw together, if u get leds off trademe or somewhere.

I think the laws say you cant have a red light on the front and thats pretty much it. And possibly u arent allowed to have the lights/neons showing.

I had my neon light turned on, as my rolling stoppie down Queen st came to a stop at the lights on one Friday night. The cops weren't too impressed with my efforts when I realised that they were watching the whole event from a side street. I am not too sure if it was the neon light or the stoppie though.

I had turned it on at numerous other instances and had no problems with the cops.

It's probably like riding without mirrors. Sometimes you might get done for it but most of the time, they hardly ever notice.

That looks really cool. I was thinking about neons but they don't come in yellow. LED's may be the way to go. How water proof do you think your setup is, that's my only concern, (couple hundred km's in the rain at 100km/h+)
Life is difficult because it is non-linear.

I dunno, but something is telling me that it might have been the stoppie?

Probaly draw more attention from the police than anything, just like those boy racer homos who watch to much 'Fast & furious' movies.

Talk to dangerous (VTR1000) he's really into that stuff. He is putting some red neons on his bike this weekend I think.

    Looks good.
