I have gone thru two sets on the 600, we also put them on the gsxr 1000, they are now on the rsvr, and also on the busa.

I am currently running the 2ct, and wouldn't say that were that much quicker than normal powers. would wear quicker if on the track, but not the road.
First of all, You've got far too many bikes and I think you should give away your Aprilia.....to me!
Secondly I agree about the Non 2ct PP's, great tyres, don't know the mileage I did on my set but I was happy about the lenght of time they were on my bike The 2ct's i did'nt feel were that much dearer considering and I feel like theres a bit of extra positivity to the tyre when right on it's side but i'm only talking by a few degrees here...not that much.
I'm only half way through the rear tyre so I cant make a comment on the life of the tyre until it's dead but on the face of it, it seems to be wearing more quickly than the standard PP's and the harder centre compound is not have as much of affect on stopping the dreaded squaring off of the tyre as I had hoped, that said the front tyre is all good though.
Been hereing great things about the Road 2's and thought I might try a PP 2ct on the front and a Road 2 2ct on the rear next time to see how that combo worked.

Well only own two the gsxr 600, and the rsvr, we sold the gsxr 1000 to buy the aprilia, and the busa is father in laws which is sitting in my garage tho.

I averaged was getting 5500kms out of a rear PP, i think i am sitting about 2000km on the 2ct at moment.

Well its not harder in the middle its the same compound as normal PP, its just the siders are softer.

Easy tiger! 1) I never said I was great. 2) Have to use the edge of the tyre to keep up to some of the people I ride with. 3) Lucky enough to be able to buy them straight from Noth Acc so no that expensive.

... And 4) Wheres the love?

Like I said I really appreciate everyones opinions.. Good or bad. You guys have a hell of a lot more experiance than I do.

Yeah I realise about the compounds on the 2ct, thats why i'm a little taken a back about the rate of wear at the moment, time will tell.

I'll let you off about tha 'Prilla since you dont own the four bikes I was gonna say i'll be expecting delivery friday but oh well....

    Quite simple really

If you dont spend time on the sidewalls you are riding on the tread centre = tyre flattens off in the centre quicker. I've had 11,000km out of a rear & 18,000km from a front, all non 2ct's, just from riding a bit quicker in the corners to get more use of the sidewalls.
Suck, Squeeze, Bang, Blow aren’t just the 4 cycles of an engine
