Can't say it does much for me, too 2 stroke like. Now a Cbx, they sounded awesome!
Gonna look for this MG V8 now. Sounds interesting.

Edit: Goddamn that V8 sounds awesome!!!!

    Guzzi V8 is awesome, but ya can't beat a 500GP two-stroke.

That Honda does sound good though.

Hang on a minute while I just pat down the hairs on the back of my neck.
Awesome to see these old machines. I get a real buzz from seeing these vids!
Are you going out on the V11 today? I'll wait at the old challenge station just to hear you ride past!

    One word...........

    Sexual
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded

Those 60s Honda GP multis are farking excellent. The best engine noises around, beats the pants off any two-stroke or Italian V8 IMHO

    The RC166 250cc 6-cylinder is the best.

Below is a very famous picture of Hailwood at Clermont-Ferrand on the RC166. 62hp at 17,000rpm out of a 250cc engine.

That sure does sound good. Extreme loudness!

My personal favs for sound are, Ducati's, NC24's, pretty much all triples and of course a 2 stroke on song. I actually think the latest batch of Moto GP bikes sound almost like 2 strokes.

    Like the RC212V.

    Well I reckon anyway.

Probably to do with the number of bangs going on, like Twinshock750 said in a similar thread.

I remember watching the RC211V on a streaming video back in 2000. No one knew what the hell a V5 bike would sound like, I remember thinking it had that triple like cadence (or multiples of 3 cylinder engine have) but a 2 stroke like frequency (lots of bangs).
