    Capital 1000K Cruise

Yesterday Capital 1000K Cruise was completed by 19 Riders in total we had 20 registrations. Departed from Caltex Rimutaka at around 7:00 am with the first rider coming in around 6:30 pm. The last riders all completed the journey arriving in around 10:30 pm.

All of the riders returned feeling exstatic and refreshed from the ride and it was pleasing to see all of the smiles and the fact that they wanted to stay around and chew the fat. All returned safely as no major incidents occurred.

All riders received an achievement certificate, and small gifts organised by KoroJ (John) and Twosup (Steve). We felt it was deserving to give out some spot prizes one in particular to Sweetp as she was the only female rider who completed the challenge on her Suzuki FSR 150 for this she received the Hard Arse Award!

I would like to also thank Kari for providing the support vehicle and keeping me up to date with where the riders were at all times, and a very special thank you to KoroJ for all of the organisation of this event. I would also like to thank the KB Riders for their participation.

Due to the success of this event it will now become an annual event in November - see you all next year.

    Cheers
    Twosup (Steve)

    Hi KoroJ

Yes, Steve will be riding next year - as stated depends on medical clearance; can't keep a good man down so should be bouncing back to the long distance rides soon.

Great work on the Capital 1000K Cruise - If Steve has his way I will be attending next year also.

    Cheers
