    An Orange Hindu.

As Bob the "News Hound" has posted, Baja, the Indian M/cycle company has bought into KTM, apparently to access the companies vast knowledge on motorcycle engineering.
However, I know the Real reason.......
KTM are entering the Hindu Times sponsored Elephant racing series.
In the "light weight' class, they will be using a 640 Adventure, with minor mods incl a long floppy nose cone.
And obviously, in the "Heavy Weight" class, the 990 is expected to wobble to the front of the pack.
Baja did want to use Triumph machines, but there was an uproar from the British, fearing that they wouldn't be able to stop rust affecting the Elephants feet in the wet season events.
    Popadom anyone?

Are you sure you posted this in the right place? Looks more like a messy bit of pointless drivel there Triboy, or does it belong in the jokes and humor area, especially since as you pointed out, a thread on the topic by bob already exists in Biker News forum and you posted there before creating this thread. Why not put this there too..

Hmm, maybe I'm just grumpy this morning

Probably in the wrong place, and all the rest, but I couldn't help poking a bit of brown smelly stuff at the Orange Roughies.
I know they are a very sensitive lot when one mentions the sacred letters "KTM", but what the hell. A bit of stirring is good for the soul.......

    It's all good.

Not sure what you're on, but I wish you'd pass it around!
    Cheers,
