    Christchurch bike rental companies

    Hello gang,

First post here.... a buddy and I are planning a trip Dec 25 to Jan 19. We're looking at starting in Christchurch and poking around for 2-3 weeks.

I am looking at rental places, but they seems to all belittle you to death with extra charges for panniers (what a bunch of bull) etc. Is there someone that has a better idea as to which company to go with?

    Thanks,
    Kevin

    Hi Malindi

I am Blair Corkran and have started up RentaTriumph motorcycle rentals. I to get amused at rental businesses saying no hidden costs then they try to clobber you for extras be it Panniers or Insurance. At RentaTriumph my costs include Triumph panniers, heated handgrips and full insurance. The only extra costs you will incur is if you don't bring your own riding gear and want to hire some of me.
    My website is www.rentatriumph.co.nz

Check out 'Te Waipounamu motorcycle hire and tours'. Good bunch of down to earth people, good range of bikes. Will genuinely see you right or point you in the right direction.
