Since then I've been dealing with Red Baron. No complaints other than the fact that it's a bloody long way to walk back into town. Mt Eden used to be so convenient (I could have a pint or two at Galbraiths while waiting...).
Things might have changed since the move, but as I said in my earlier post Ricky and only Ricky used to do the 'old' machines. And he was very good indeed.
Apart from that, no, they don't touch 'old' stuff anymore.
Wild West and Henderson are both fine with my bike. Happy as.

EDIT: umm, sorry, my comment in relation to HALDANES not Mt Eden. Confused as was opposite and thinking ... mt eden mt eden ...

    wow!

    Wow thanks so much guys!
I'll definitely ring a few of your recommendations and see how we go.
I am really keen to do some work myself although half the problem is recently moving up here and not having dads workshop handy anymore!
    I will post progress!

Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot

yeah ------ but that don't help when NO-one wants to look at the bike

i had exactly the same problem over here with the CB350 twin --- '73
    - it's only recently that i've found a small country-town workshop that's qualified and willing to help with her

seems there's no problem with 'classic' bikes - i had no problem with the '72 triumph bonne at ALL .......

Give Warren Bridger a call on (09) 836-1547. He is happy to work on pretty much anything, although he is often very booked up.

Warren is out in Pahs Cross Rd, Henderson.
