Funny you should ask....I have this really cool little CBR 600, it goes really well, has done for years, it's really comfy on long rides and in all the tens of thousands of Ks I've done on it, I've always wanted to do more! I never want to get off the thing. It's a wee gem of a bike! It's yours for 9.5k. PM me for a test ride.

XJR1300 - the large comfy chair.
Once the suspenders are done, it should handle less like one, as well!

    You'd have $1500 change.

Did you read Kendog's review on the KTM http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...ad.php?t=55395

That'd be something different, or what about the Ducati Hypermotard?

Look I know they aren't Hondas so they aren't the best but hey worth a look if you don't feel like a Hornet or a CB1300.

Bugger the money just mortgage the house.

It certainly would be different with a $10000 budget.

Maybe a pair of forks and a couple of wheels and a seat.

Add to that list the ZRX1200 then. Very good retro naked for touring. Massive torque too.

You got to try them all before you exclude any.

Was going to mention that one. Looks stunning, even got me wanting one over a some sportsbikes.

A Motard might be an idea. If you have a chance to test ride one, go for it. I rode a WR450 which was fun, although with the stock pipe and knobbies it felt like a tractor

With that Suzuki Summerfest thing going on, you could get a new GSX750 Katana for about $10000. Then, if you ask nicely, they'll throw in a Tech/Ram mount for holding a book! Trust me, going from the GSXR to the Katana, you'll need the book! What does it profit a man to gain all that comfort, but to lose his SOUL?

    Go the Speed triple!
$11,500 for a 4 year old bike with 34,000k on the clock ???

Suzuki are listing the GSX 1400 @ $13,995 NEW
Honda are listing the CB 1300 @ $13,495 NEW
    Kawasaki Z1000 @ $15,995 NEW

Not saying they have overpriced that bike, but for an extra $2,000 (+) for a new one I know which one will be left sitting on the showroom floor

    I've had a wash. And I'm a little biased.
