    Suzuki GZ250 Vs Suzuki GN250

    Hi guys,
Just got license after years of procrastination and now looking for first bike. I have two on offer, a 2005 Suzuki GN250 and a 2002 Suzuki GZ250.
1/ Are these the same engine?
2/ I know the GZ250 has been discontinued, will this affect parts and servicing?
    3/ How do they handle?
4/ Which one will give me the longest life. EG I'm also just about to buy a house so unlike 95% of your learner license holders I don't wanna sell up in one years time.

Thanks guys. I think I prefer the styling of the GZ, but there is just that little niggle of doubt.
    Cheers

Also have a look at the Suzuki TU250 Volty.
Nice Retro bike, with the older GN power plant, and cool styling
Klingon, and Kanny will give you there, ahem, unbiased opinions.
oh, how rude of me, welcome to the site.

Yeah the Volty is good too. I prefer the GZ Marauder over the GN, but that's 'cause I like a bit of style and those GN's are EVERYWHERE!

Shorai Powersports batteries are very trick!

    Welcome.

I can only speak of the GN as it is what I started on -and I was 'over it' in 2 weeks - even as a new biker.

Its OK for a cheap and easy commuter over small distances - but other than that its not a long tearm bike for most.

in my opinion all the mentioned bikes are shit.....don't want to piss people off, and a scooter is one less car on the road, but i would try to get a vtr 250.

Same for me, GN's are just so blehhh! be original get something with a bit of class and entertainment
This my neighbor, Nursultan Tuleiakbay. He is pain in my assholes. I get a window from a glass, he must get a window from a glass. I get a step, he must get a step. I get a clock-radio, he cannot afford. Great success!
