That seems to work really well for that corner complex.
I get the power sliding technique but have only raced 450 or S2 class bikes and they don't have the power to unhook the rear predictably on the corner exits like your Aprillia (on dry, clean tarmac anyway and I ain't Nicky Hayden!)

I also gather from watching the the flick vid you must be a fairly fit bugger, do you train off the bike or do you just ride all the time?

    Thanks again
    Craig
    Thank you

My aprilia is a S2 bike but sure it has a lot more power, however, heres a video from 2006 when I rode a DETUNED crf 450 (watch for the third clip with me, the black honda crf): http://www.mortec.se/e107_plugins/au...tec_bussjo.wmv
The asphalt is clean, its just in the transfer from the two different asphalt surfaces theres a couple of rocks.

I do this to initiate a power slide: Get on the throttle so that it accelerates a little harder than keeping the speed, then, tilt the bike over even more. Since youve got more load on the rear tire it lets go before the front tire, then straighten it up and control it with the throttle and with the lean!

I only practice on the bike, I used to lift weights and run 10 miles but since I started learning motocross in august 2006 I've been too lazy It does show on my body tho, not as attractive as I once were

Jeez mate, thats some impressive stuff. Really enjoyed that video.
"I came into this game for the action, the excitement... go anywhere, travel light,... get in, get out,... wherever there's trouble, a man alone... Now they got the whole country sectioned off; you can't make a move without a form."

Paved roads are just another example of wasted tax payer dollars.

I've been kind of slow with powersliding with the aprilia, even riding without excessive spin tears thru a new rear tire each practice

Welcome to the site Olof, awesome riding mate! I love Supermotards, they are damn awesome...haven't given it a go yet myself, but it is on the to do list. Hopefully you do manage to make it over here some time! If I was around, I would love to learn how to slide like that.
Nail your colours to the mast that all may look upon them and know who you are.
It takes a big man to cry...and an even bigger man to laugh at that man.

    Thank you!

How hard is it to get to try a supermoto in NZ? Do they sell well? You sure should! I've had people try riding my bikes after they have ridden R1's and stuff and they allways comment on what a great push the bikes have

Thanks for sharing those SM! Good on ya!

Olof you're a bloody legend mate! I'd have to have a intraveanous quinnine drip to ride like that or I'd cramp up and stay in that position forever!

Here's some sideways action I've found:
