Someone to check out a bike for me please (Waitakere City)

I've got a new bike in mind.. seems a buet of a bike. However its in Waitakere City, Auckland.

Would anyone be able to go have a looky at it for me, and give me their impressions? Please send me a PM if you can. I'll send you details and arrange the viewing with the current owner.

Then that leaves me with finding professional bike movers/shippers to have the bike sent down as I'm not able to go up and ride it back. So if you know of or recommend a company that can pick the bike up from the owner and have it sent to me, that would be great to.

    Rock on..

Well if it wasn't a cruiser I wouldn't be posting in this section. Makes sense I guess.

Its a mid size v4 cruiser with all the standard chrome and forward controls that you get on a cruiser

So what kind of cruiser is it? Year, model, mileage, all the good stuff mate.

Thanks.. kinda looks like my loud ass beast that you've already been introduced to several months ago.

Except this one I'm gonna have all the work done super professionally, proper everything - pipes, re-chroming, custom paint job.

I'd like to publicly thank BMZ2 and Jafar for their help offered and taking some time out of their lives to help another biker.

Attached are photos of the new ride. Love having the little chromed billet clock! Just pulled it off though as the battery is flat and went to go get a new battery and all the stores at the mall are closed! DOH! The seating is very comftable, feels a tad like it sits higher then my other bike but might just be the more padded seat. Bars hold a bit more upright and are small ape hangers. Gears shift nice and forgiving. Stalled it when I started it up haha No problems so far now though - fark 250kg bike is funny feeling leaning on a corner. Cant see how you with 300kg rides do it :P

Already working on it, replacing the allen bolts with chromed hex bolts, taking out one of the bolts and putting on a proper achor point rings for those bungy choreds (hold down tents etc..)

Next to come (once I have my finances resorted again), I'm chucking on a lowering kit, and proper forward controls, and then fitting everything else in chrome.

Opinions though - the little screen on the front. Keep or get rid of?

I'd keep it. It's not as ridiculously huge as some screens. It's small, and hopefully effective. I would say it would probably make a significant difference to aerodynamics and therefore speed as well as mileage and wear in the long term.
I mean, it'd be better and more comfortable for you, I'm sure, to have the screen doing the cutting through the air rather than your upper body (making it 'cruisier'!).

Whatever gains you can get without sacrificing the beauty of the machine, why not?

Close... we really want a woman AND a motorbike.
