50% of poeple in intensive care are there because of traffic accidents. I've seen what happens to the people that dont die.
Fancy a hole in the throat? coughing flem, drooling, unable to talk properly, people shy away - too embarrased to look.
The worse you get, the more drugs and machines they put around you, turning you into living death. You cant even kill yourself. Luckily in New Zealand the intensivists can quietly call it a day and euthanase you, in the states, they put you in a bed farm, 100 beds in a ward, dead/alive people lie there being pumped and drained on insurance money.
No car is worth the risk of doing that to someone. Speeding cops are just legaliased street racers. Fuck em all.
Cops have to justify why they are going the speed they do in persuits, or getting to scenes of crimes, accidents etc.
I walked past the cops the other day while they were parked up outisde a dairy, and naturally I looked sheepish at them....I then realised I was on foot and not wearing my biker gear I then strutted past
Natural reactions.![]()
My bass is such a slapper.......I cant stop fingering those strings
has this guy been caught??
My bass is such a slapper.......I cant stop fingering those strings
You dont get it do you....it isnt the flaming cops fault , it `s the drop kick that broke the law in the first place.....I dont like seeing people die from preventable accidents either , but if said Drop kick didnt break the law in the first place then accident wouldnt have had to happen.
I agree with most of what you say but for christs sake we as a community need to start owning up and taking responsibility for our actions!!!!
If I do something wrong as the officer in charge of a fire truck I am accountable for my actions...it may have been a crew member that fucked up ...it doesnt matter its still my responsibility, I`m supposed to be in charge...if a drop kick breaks the law..its oh he had a hard life, its not his fault he`s just mis-understood, the cops shouldnt have chased him , cause now look what they`ve done some innocent party has been hurt.
He chose to break the law, he chose to be a drop kick.
Yup they sure do have a back up , and both choppers are leased, with civvie pilots, it also has a top speed of 209 kmph give or take, but in the air its a constant speed, where as on the ground you are constantly changing speed due to conditions around you.
also the pilots use prediction, they can see a bend is coming up so can fly the direct route rather than follow the road as the vehicle has to do.
by the way a chopper only has around 200 starts from its starter system (i may be wrong about this, its something I`ve heard , could an aviation expert confirm please.)before it needs to be recharged, at around $20,000 per charge , it aint cheap.
yeah aircraft aren't cheap
hundred bucks to start plus well over a hundred an hour for fuel to run the engine plus the pilot and the ground crew and all the organisation and communications needed to co-ordinate the chase
and then insurance on the chopper, and then public liability insurance, suddenly we see why they've only got a couple (which cost 6 or 7 digit numbers to buy and kit up in the first place!)
Actually I would say its more like 30% at most times, a very large percentage of people in intensive care are there due to things like renal transplants and various diabetic complications and various other things like heart and vascular complications etc etc, I know this as I have worked very closely with the critical care ward of Auckland hospital. The department of critical care at Auckland hospital boasts a 98% survival rate. Each patient has 2 highly qualified nurses attending to them at any one time. About the tracheactomy, that is only for the patients that are in the worst state, i.e unable to breathe at all, and if that is the case they keep you sedated untill youre condition improves. There are far worser places to end up, one in which Ill describe as a stainless steel trolley in a chiller. Ive seen what happens, from when you arrive to when you are dishcharged, I have to say that its not nice, but its a fuck load better than getting a Y incision done by the pathologist.
