I agree with most of what you say but for christs sake we as a community need to start owning up and taking responsibility for our actions!!!!

If I do something wrong as the officer in charge of a fire truck I am accountable for my actions...it may have been a crew member that fucked up ...it doesnt matter its still my responsibility, I`m supposed to be in charge...if a drop kick breaks the law..its oh he had a hard life, its not his fault he`s just mis-understood, the cops shouldnt have chased him , cause now look what they`ve done some innocent party has been hurt.

He chose to break the law, he chose to be a drop kick.
couldnt have been said any better

Appeals Court Authorizes Lethal Force in Low Speed Chases
US Appeals Court rules that police may use lethal force against a motorist who scares other motorists to death in a low-speed chase.

Fair enough they take out a high-speed pursuit - but...?

Yep. Makes me wonder if they can now go and waste roller-coaster operators - for "Scaring those people to death!" Hmmm - and producers, directors, actors, etc. involved in making 'Horror' movies... Only in America?

From the video, he wasn't going that much faster than the other cars, and it looked like he was taking care when passing. Looked pretty tame compared to what I see every time I go on long distance rides.

All this high-horse talk and speculation, does anybody know exactly why he was running? too many demerits? Didn't want to stop then things just got out of hand?

"He's a tosser" doesn't really cut it for balanced detail.

Just because its illegal doesnt mean its wrong! There are plenty of places you can go between two cars while riding the yellow lines with still heaps of room to spare :P

"Recharged" can just mean serviced. Push the starter tit can be $170 a time, probably more now since I was told that by the Westpac pilot 10yrs ago.
