    East City Motorcycles - Awesome.

Sorry if this is the incorrect forum to post this in, I just wanted to share the great experience of customer service and all round good-guy'ness of the guys at East City Motorcycles.

I took my ol' beat up ninja250 in for a service as well as some other problems + wof, they were very helpful as I am sadly not very mechanically minded (wishing I was). Everything was smooth, I won't mention the other place I took my bike a while ago but it was chaotic, everything was slow, took weeks and weeks to do a simple task. So I was expecting at least a couple of days since these guys would be doing twice the amount of work.

Not to be! Dropped it in at about 4pm yesterday, got a call a few minutes ago, she's all good and ready to be picked up! They even ran it around to heat it up to see if it would start while hot (that was one of the problems), and everytime it started.. IMO they didn't need to do that, and that was an extra mile in my books.

I wont mention the price, but I have to say it is _very_ desirable, and I admire that they dedicated time to my beat up bike as if it were a new ZX6r or something.

I'm 99.9999% sure they service bikes other than Kawasaki, so if they do, and you live in the area, I would 100% recommend them. They'll be getting all my service from now on.

    Cheers
-From a stoaked zeocen who can't believe his bike is ready the next day :P

Yay for them being good sorts!

It's great to know the good shops, as well as the bad. I'm glad you posted, sometimes it's a bit depressing reading about people getting ripped off left, right and centre. . .

Hmmm. That smiley's a bit random. Ah well. Have another random smiley.

If they managed to do an impressive burnout on my 250 I'll be mighty impressed! :P

Just picked it up about an hour ago, again.. great service, and yeah the workshop is fucking tidy. The apprentice (I think?) and I had a good chuckle about my bicycle bell and had a good ol' chinwag with the owners.

Thoroughly impressed, they were helpful to me, someone who is a complete mechanical/electrical newbie, I didn't feel like I was being looked down upon or anything.. always helpful.

They'll have my service for years to come if this is the standard norm, and probably a bike or two off them when funds allow

Hmm.. Pity they're miles away from me. I've got to drop the ZXR in for a decent service plus cam chain and valve clearances done and don't really want a muppet inside my engine block..

Was thinking Wild West Honda (close to home) or Colemans (close to work).

    Hell yes!

Cory and Lance are top blokes.

They are a fount of knowledge on things two wheeled, and happily share their expertise from the high browed know-alls to the lowest of the tire kickers.

I'm waiting for my full license, then it'll be off to East City for my new ride... huzzah!

Good to hear the Ninja got some loving Zeocen, did they polish your bicycle bell as well? *ring ring*

Hehe nah, but the apprentice (I think he's one, cool dude) said he had a laugh when they were revving the bike, because the bell vibration was ringing just as loud :P I had drowned it out hehe

I gotta say, riding for a good time, stopping for a bite then hopping back on and having it start up straight away like a new bike does, is something wonderful.

Mate, a well sorted 250 should fire up sweet as if its in good order, kept my cbr250rr well tuned, was a 92, and never had a problem, hot cold, wet or dry. good feeling.
