I was riding home about 5:30pm or so, had just come over the Northcote bridge and was going down Northcote road towards the roundabout. I see this maroon coloured cage coming towards me and it took a few seconds to register but all of a sudden I realised "oh shit, he's on the wrong side of the road!"

He would have been doing probably 80-90 k or so and was going straight at me on the bike, so I just swung the bike as hard left as I could and got out of the way, then this cop comes screaming up behind him with his lights going, not sure where they went from there.

It was pretty scary as I could very easily have been pasted all over his windscreen, and the bike wrecked. I hope they got the bastard, that was the second time in a month where my life has been put at risk because of idiot cagers.

My question was, did anyone else see this and see what happened, where they ended up, did that guy trying to get away from the cops end up bowling somebody else or anything? I looked online and in the papers but haven't seen anything as of yet....
