    Get ready for a backlash

This has been discussed on previous posts. From memory general comments along the lines of, oh no not another waving thread, just wave if you want to wave, don't be offended if they don't reply and it is too hard to have a specific KB wave etc. There were a couple of ideas for a wave but they got slammed by many.

I remember in the early 80s dad waving to quite a few cars on our journeys especially to the drivers of the 1950s holdens like ours. Ahh the good old pre crips days.

I quite enjoy turning on my right blinker when a truck comes past especially if I am following a truck who has just blinked his fellow trucker. I wave to bikes if I see them in time (or nod if going around a corner). I just love seeing others out riding, warms the cockles of my heart.

man, that explains so so much.

Well, I guess we are... noone in their right mind can blame HD riders for their reluctance towards taking their paws off the handlebars...

    I wave...

.... sometimes with my both hands up in the air...

.... but that happens normally outside the city area ....

... or also when I am on a very good mood

Edit: Oh, I've been thinking.... How about a high five? (Ofcourse at slow speeds lol)

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

Good idea, IF we were somewhere where we drove on the right side of the road as opposed to the wrong...

Waving - the ongoing saga (multiple threads merged into one)

I'm new to this site and have a question. This one has been puzzling me for a while.

Generally I wave to other bikers. Should one wave to bikers who wear gang colours?

Hopefully that's not the [biking] world's daftest question.

    Cheers, Andy

Not a silly question at all.
It is generally best though if you wave with one finger pointing up.
