    Big Bikes Hamilton

Just thought id give a quick shout out for the guys at Big Bikes and let everyone know how excellent the service I recieved was.

I finally traded the TL for an awesome price on an R1100RT.

The RT came fully serviced with a set of new Metzlers on it, new wof and 6 months reg.

A few days later I dropped the bike into Experience BMW in Auckland for a thorough check over. They discovered that the exhaust was rusting from the inside out and it would not be much longer before it sounded like a dirt bike and started failing WOFs. QUOTE $2000 to fix.

I also learned that because it had passed a wof immediately before I bought it that Big Bikes were under no obligation to fix it.

I recieved a complimentary call later in the week from Big Bikes to see how the bike was, during which I mentioned the above problem in a passing sentence. Next thing I knew was we were working out how to get the bike back down to them so they could have the exhaust replaced.

To top it off, when I dropped my bike in to the they gave me an awesome K1200 with a full tank of gas to hoon back up to Auckland on.

    HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

They have everything from HDs to Aprillias in stock and they give good prices for trades

The website is www.bigbikes.co.nz and they sell on trademe under bigbikes

To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded

    Seconded

As a result of reading this thread I bought an R1100RT from them too (seriously). Nice bunch of guys and what a cool bike. Bit different from the ol' GN250. How's yours going, TLMAN?
Attention shoppers! Outside today, we have a cripple fight. Cripple fight, outside!
