    What the heck is that thing? XS650? Bet it would sound great.

    Deanohit - go to The Chopper Shop at Papamoa, and see my Enfield 350 that is being converted this way right now: just awaiting the alloy guards.

    If you're going to go slow, go slow in style is my idea.

    (Begs the question of what constitutes "style"...).

    Tappet rattle tappet rattle thump thump thump is what it sounds like.

    I'll post photos when it's finished.

    Meantime, my standard RE 500 road bike does any gravel road just fine as is.
