I don't particularly like the fighter look -its practicality rather than look Imgoing for.
I'm looking more and more to a srad with "normal" bars and fairings adjusted to suit. -Imkinda hoping a SV650 will turn up with a munted front forks and wheel--so I can use the stuff in the corner of my gargre

What about a mid to late 90s CB750 or CB900 Frosty?

And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

What about an older CBR600 with higher bars, they're pretty relaxed. Or as a slightly left field suggestion there's always a TDM900 (if you can find one).

Hey Frosty. Get a powerball and build up the strength in your wrist and forearems, they actually work and aren't a gimmick. www.powerballs.co.nz/

Just been looking on tardme..the price of second hand bikes..are quite expensive.
There is a couple of XR650s. for around 5 to 7 grand.but sort of 8 yrs old.
There a few XT 660s ..low ks.and only a year old..the price isnt to much dearer than the older bikes.
Have heard the DR650 is good value for money
i know its a bit more than you wanted to spend....
    Just food for thought
