Its supposed to be fine tomorrow and sunday, so by sunday it should be reasonably dry at thunderx....although my ridding buddy bailed on me for the weekend so i'm now thinking about going to the mangatangi ride.

Ashhurst. Tomorrow. Up via Shannon. Home via Akitio, if it's not too windy.

It wont be that bad, the rain hasn't been that heavy the last couple of days and with fine weather predicted for the next couple of days it should be pretty dry by sunday.

Forget the sand I am totally bored of riding on sand and I don't want to see it again until next winter!

Its the last Waitemata Motorcycle Club Woodhill trail ride for the year and they are always good with plenty of ride time. The Mangatangi ride is an ok ride over farm land mostly but they do close the tracks real early. I got prevented from doing another lap at about 2.30-3.00pm and did not get enough riding in the last two years so if you going to do that ride Cheese make sure you get there real early. In fact from memory I don't think they even let you on to the trails until 10-10.30 and after a briefing so ride time is very limited. Plenty of similar rides coming up so you choose.

Twice the displacement, twice the cost and a decibel problem, I'll pass on the inside brraaaap!!!

What is everyones opinion on Woodhill??? Thinking of trying somewhere new. Been to Maddix park in TGA, Kimmy's Farm, Tokoroa, Thuder valley and Ardmore so far.

Is it worth the drive up from Hamilton? If not will just hit tok or kimmy's on Sunday.

Either way the bikes are all serviced and ready to go (apart from the filters) so I'm pumped!!!
