Setting China/NZ relations back a decade or two...

I'm no racist, but it seems to me that there are alot of people of Asian descent that want to kill me on my scoot.

There's this cultural thing for Asians. Only really poor people ride motorcycles, therefore they have to yeild to the car people. And peasants ride bicycles. I ride bikes and motorcycles, so I get close calls - and most of those are either asshole truck drivers, fucking rednecks driving Falcons... Or Asian people.

So, last weekend, went over to ZXRIDER's to say gidday, he wasn't home, so went towards the racetrack, shit I mean motorway via the ** ***** roundabout thingee. Went through in the left lane next to Mr Asian Guy, he was in the right lane turning right than left, same as me.

He looks across and sees me (can't miss the GSXR with the loudest yoshi pipe in the world), he's got his windows open, and I see him nudge his Asian girlfriend and mouth something that look like "hey, watch me run this impoverished gwai-lo of the road", and he then changes lane onto me, and pushes me against the kerb. I ended up on the footpath.

    It gets better.

Mr Asian Guy is laughing, deep belly laughs, at my expense.

    I'm less happy.

So, in a manner consistent with the road code in terms of speed and overtaking, I passed the car, and as I passed I noticed that this guys mirror flew off his car. Not quite sure how it happened...? Not a good sign for his car's build quality for a wing mirror to just fall off...

I learned two things from this:
    1. Bags of peas work really well to reduce swelling in your left hand when it comes in contact with something travelling about 60 k's slower than you.

    2. You should never miss an opportunity to work conflict out between two civilised people with good, open communication and mutual respect. If that doesn't work, then gratuatous violence is also a useful tool.

    Ride safe.
It’s diametrically opposed to the sanitised existence of the Lemmings around me in the Dilbert Cartoon hell I live in; it’s life at full volume, perfect colour with high resolution and 10,000 watts of amplification.

Taking a guy mirror off with your hand was irresponsible, you need to work on your footwork. Taking his mirror is theft, the least you can do is give it back to him, perhaps while doing 100kmph in the other direction.

Wanker, hope you got his rego

Living right by Howick, I am afraid that what you say is depressingly accurate.

Sure, you get twats on the road. But they don't tend to actively try and kill you...

Weeeell, sweeping generalisations like that might lead people to believe other wise but...

    ...that's just the ticket.

Stencil a patchwork saloon car covered in crappy bodykit and filler on the side of your steed and strike a red cross through it, sir. Make no apologies: if you're sure someone knows you're there -- like they've held eye contact -- and then done something retarded like pushed you off the road, thrown a lit cigarette or McDonald's bag full of litter at you (yes, yes and yes) then all bets are off.

    Cool I have found that...

Having a steel plate on the heal of my boot is a brilliant way to make sparks fly from cage drivers side doors after they have decided to challenge me on the road. It also puts a custom touch to their paint work...

May the bridges I burn light the way.

Don't know if you have noticed, but there are Asian bikers on here too.

I think the problem you have found, is that in China. I think people have the mentality of giving way to the biggest cage. (this is from watching videos) So good on you on teaching him a lesson.

As for me I generally don't compete with cars on the road, cause you always loose. I just ride around them and them in my mirrors no more.

Maybe you can mount a metal plate on your knee sliders? U know... knee down on the paint.

Glad to hear you aren't racist. You are unfortunate to meet just the Asian ones who are trying to kill you on your scoot. There are others (non-Asians' that is) out there. I have seen them. I must be meeting the ones you haven't seen.

There's this cultural thing for Asians. Only really poor people ride motorcycles, therefore they have to yeild to the car people. And peasants ride bicycles. Not all Asians think like that. Don't paint everyone with the same brush. There are good people out there of all races.

Did you hear him say that over the loudest yoshi pipes in the world?

From the point where he laughs at your expense - he deserves to lose his mirror in the wind. I like your sense of humour 'gwai-lo.'

Yeah Asians are psycho. GiJoe1313 is always trying to run me off the road; not actively, but by switching on his neons and making me cringe in horror halfway through a tricky corner.

Don't even get me started on Zapf. Encountering him caused me to go and hide under some trees on the side of the road until I was brave enough to go back and face up to him.

Chinese want to kill all gwai-lou; mainly because we keep pinching their girlfriends At least that's what my girlfriend's father says.

Just how do you tell tho...they all look the same, don't they?
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
