10 months, to make a website?
I'd wager that in another 10 months it'll still be shit.
Right... I should pay for a toll call why again? And in that 2 minutes, I could've logged into somewhere like here, and actually have ordered and paid for the parts.
They are not a web based company so its not exactly a high priority for them, they are based in NZ though and offer great back up and support, they do heaps for me and if it wasnt for that i wouldnt be racing. If i see a company putting lots of effort into helping guys with there racing etc ill be interested in going ever so slightly out of my way when im purchasing something, if it means i have to make a $2 phone call then thats what i would do, its prob a good thing that your not gonna call them cause you sound like a cock that would prob waste some good peoples valuable time![]()
You sound like a fucking tugger in this thread TBH. Let it go. Fuck. If you don't want to shop there- don't shop there? You are all the way down in chch so its possibly less applicable to you than others here.
Wondering why you are too shy to use the phone. Girly voice or something?
I want to know if they have much in stock? I might pop in for a browse sometime. I used to always drive past (back before they changed the road layout down there.. now it kinda fucks me off so i try avoid it) and wonder what that place was about.
Go fuck yourself arsehole... Basic rule of eBusiness is if you have a website, make sure it's not a useless sack of shite. Another is, if you don't want to sell online, don't make it look like you do.
All I did is suggest to them that their site should be improved, a lot. 10 months later I'm looking to spend money again and their site once again shows up in the search results, and surprisingly it's not better, it's actually worse...
So, at least one person that they (now) know about, has looked at them twice, specifically wanting to spend a good sum of money, but couldn't as their site was substandard. I could've have happily said nothing, both times, but I want a NZ company to actually step up and put some effort in. Sure I could ring them... or I could just go click click click and spend it somewhere that does allow it.
Of course your mate here thinks that not using the phone in a case like that makes me a cock, a time waster, and a tugger. Well sharpen up losers, there's a reason why a million New Zealands have embraced and used eCommerce, cause they like it.
On that note, both motomart and cycletreadz have put in good efforts... if they're selling something I want, not only will I buy it from them, I'l do it regardless of if it costs me more than it would have to have imported it.
Keep up or die.
Basic rules of eBusiness? Why the fuck does that matter? Its not an eBusiness and its not trying to be. Obviously its on the cards for later but thats their prerogative and none of your worry.
If you have so much money and its so easy to buy stuff from overseas; why haven't you done so already?
And for the record- That guys not my mate. Never met him in my life and I know none of the people at the store in question. I'm purely unbiased in all comments given.
while i'm sure you can up grade you Vespa some were else and you won't be missed!! why even bother it's tossers like you on here we can do with out!!
I've dealt with willie and james form SpeedTech and can tell you now that they offer lots more then you can get from a web page! they are very passionate about what they do and are well worth the trip to meet in person!
Ride it like you stole it....
Cheers mate! its always better coming from someone else!
They do have a small stock but its good to just pop in and see them, they always have a few trick bikes in the showroom to check out if nothing else, but if theres something that you are after and wanna order it from guys that are putting heaps back in to the sport then this is the place!
That's what I did the first time, but I'd rather buy from Kiwis given the chance.
I don't want any more than I can get from a web page... I'm a plum customer... I know exactly what I want, I require no pre or after sales service, and all I want to do is drop a grand on gear. Why did I say anything? Because a web site was allegedly coming, so next time I wanted some stuff, I looked again, but it was even worse... Feed back is important to a lot of business', so I gave some... shame their mate had a little cry over it, I won't bother again... interesting that the person they sponsor is costing them money instead of making it for them, how ironic![]()
I thought it about it some more...
I want to apologise that I let myself be baited, I'm just passionate about this particular topic.
Heaps of riders buy gear from overseas, for price and ease of purchasing. I just feel it's a hole in the market just waiting for a company like this to fill, to their profit. So much so that next time around I wanted some stuff, I went back to check them out.
Fuck what a dickhead nothing a simple email couldnt sort only have to let them know what you want via email wait a reply with options and go from there not that hard. The simple fact of trying to list every part evermade aftermarket would be a huge under taking. As for the bits you have been going on about want knowing where there supplier is they can get your loss i guess.
Ive bought a few bits here and there from these guys never had any probs appart from when i ordered the wrong part my fault.

Respect for the apology :-)
I think you just expressed yourself a little too strongly- sounded like a real hater.
Yes, I know that, better than most, I've run a complex nationwide aftermarket part cataloguing system for eight years now. However, I implore someone in New Zealand to recognise that that sort of investment pays dividends. Make it easy for people to spend money, and simply put... they will.
